The wonderfully restored St. Anne's church, the Baroque insider tip in Vienna's city centre, opens its doors again for Christmas concerts in a peaceful atmosphere. The programme ranges from the Viennese Classic period to the most beautiful Austrian and international Christmas songs, masterfully interpreted by the trumpet player and organist - a joyful and joyful evening that gets you in Christmas mood and which you should not miss. Inspirational text interventions contribute to the peaceful and intimiate atmosphere.
The heated church, inaugurated by Empress Maria Theresia, is adorned with magnificent frescoes by Daniel Gran, the artist who also created the fresco cycle in the dome of the ceremonial hall of the National Library of Vienna.

Venue
The Annakirche is a Roman Catholic religious order church and is considered one of the most beautiful baroque churches in the city. As a parish, the Annakirche belongs to the Archdiocese of Vienna. The name of the church, which was built in the Middle Ages, is Saint Anna.
The church building stands in a narrow alley in Vienna's old town and only the south side offers a clear view of the facade and the tower. The gables of the sacred building are built between residential and commercial buildings. The north side looks onto a built-up interior area.

How to get there?
The St. Anne's Church is located in the city centre. The easiest way to get there is by the subway line U3 until the station Stephansplatz, or with U1, U2 or U4 to Karlsplatz-Oper, From here you will hava a 7 minute walk. The st. Anne's church in in one of the sidestreets of the famous street Kärtnerstaße.
